Little Women (2019) Movie review

Last year’s Laura Dern won the Oscar for a female side character! She also wowed the audience with another movie of the year. There is a slight exception in her performance. The seriousness of the story is well expressed with her body language as in the dialogue.

She is acted as a mother in the movie Little Woman. The story started sometime after the American Civil War! After the war, the country has not yet become economically strong. She has four children and their father has not yet returned from the war. All four children are girls. Little woman is all about the story of a family.

But the main center is the eldest daughter Joe March. She is going to help her mother in any way she can on the day of the disaster! Sometimes with tuition money, sometimes with stories printed in newspapers. She wants to be a writer And she fulfills the unwelcome responsibility of keeping the other sisters in the family happy!

In the crowd of success, achievement, financial competition, there are some people who give away a lot of things invisibly. This is the story of spreading love, of smiling in front of loved ones in spite of grief, of giving up one’s love, for oneself, for one’s sister.

Whose life comes up in the philosophy with the dialogue “This life is too short to be angry with a sister”. This is how the journey of being a writer of Joe March goes forward. The story of the novel is simply “Little Woman.”

The story is as fascinating as the cinematography is extraordinary. Everyone has the charisma of acting. Especially since everyone famous actress. Among the girls, Saoirse Ronan is best as Joe March.

Then Emma Watson as Meg March is outstanding. Everything is perfect! I am surprised that the director is also a woman! It’s nice to see Bob Odenkirk, the famous Saul Goodman of Breaking Bad, here. He played the role of the father! Loved it!
